What should I expect during my consultation?

During the consultation, your periodontist usually reviews the patient’s medical and dental histories. It is extremely important for the periodontist to know if any medications are being taken or if the patient is being treated for any condition that can affect periodontal care, such as heart disease, diabetes, or a history of smoking.

Your periodontist will evaluate the severity of bone loss from your x-rays, and detect if you have deep periodontal pockets and/or inflammation.

We offer a wide range of treatments, including:

- Scaling and root planing.

- Root surface debridement.

- Surgical periodontal procedures.

- Local delivery of antibiotics.

- Periodontal maintenance.

Each individual's condition is different. Your periodontist will evaluate your overall condition carefully and develop a customized treatment plan.

Our ultimate goal is to save as many teeth as possible, and to help you to maintain a good, long-term oral and overall health.

Don't wait any longer.
